Update on my separate issue. I used black electrical tape on the DP wire that connects to my ACER 27. I am not getting the blank black screen anymore. So far so good. Shall see what happens over the next couple days. Those fiber DisplayPort cables are spendy and the reviews are all over the place! I will however get them if the problem persists for me. GL with your new fiber optic display cable!
